Introduction

Welcome to Electron IPTV. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how our app works.

Electron IPTV is a media player application. It allows you to organize and watch content from playlists that you provide yourself. We do not host, provide, distribute, or supply any media content whatsoever.

🔒 Your library stays on your device. We collect only limited, non-identifying usage and crash data to improve the app — never sold, never shared, and you can turn it off anytime.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored locally on your device, why it's stored, and how you are in complete control of it.

02

Information We Collect

We want to be precise. Electron IPTV does not ask you to create an account, and we never collect:

The following data is stored locally on your device only to power the app's features:

📱 This library data lives exclusively on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us. (Usage and crash analytics are covered separately in the next section.)

03

Analytics & Crash Reporting

To understand how the app is used and to fix bugs and crashes quickly, Electron IPTV uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. This is the only data that leaves your device, and it is limited and non-identifying.

This may include:

🎛️ You're in control. You can turn off usage and crash data collection at any time in Settings → Privacy inside the app. We never sell or share this data, and it is never used for advertising.

Firebase is provided by Google; its handling of this data is also governed by Google's privacy policy.

04

How Data Is Used

The information stored locally is used only to make the app work well for you:

The limited usage and crash data described above is used solely to improve the app and fix problems — never for advertising, never for profiling, and never sold or shared.

05

Third-Party Services

Electron IPTV may interact with the following external services:

When you use the app, you provide your own playlist URLs pointing to external content sources. These sources are entirely outside our control.

Important: Electron IPTV is not responsible for the content streamed through the app. All content originates from playlists that users add themselves. We have no visibility into, control over, or responsibility for that content.

06

Data Storage

Electron IPTV does not operate its own central server or backend database storing your library. Your playlists, favorites, watch history, and preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage on your Android device.

🗑️ You are always in control. Disable analytics in-app, and delete your local data anytime from your device's app settings.

07

Your Responsibility as a User

Electron IPTV is a personal media player. Like a web browser or a music player, it plays content from sources you point it to — it does not provide any content itself.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to access any content they stream through the app. Electron IPTV does not provide, host, or endorse any media content.

Please make sure that any playlists you use comply with the applicable laws in your country and respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and distributors.

08

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data the app handles. Your library is stored in Android's standard private app storage, which is sandboxed and inaccessible to other apps by default.

The limited usage and crash data we collect is transmitted securely to Google Firebase and handled under Google's security and privacy standards. Because we don't collect names, emails, or account credentials, the personal information at risk is minimal by design.

09

Children's Privacy

Electron IPTV is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The usage and crash data we collect is non-identifying and is not used to build profiles of users.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children's use of media applications and the content they access. The app also offers optional parental controls to PIN-protect adult categories.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we will notify users through the app or through an update note on the Google Play Store listing.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.

Continuing to use Electron IPTV after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
